Mobile, extra-narrow probing rig

Weighing just 510 kg, the FR2Plus is an exceptionally lightweight, self-propelled probing rig. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it can be transported in a small van.

Compared with its predecessor, it is also designed for sampling boreholes down to a depth of approximately 6 m. For deeper boreholes of up to approximately 10 m, an MRZB or Argos rig with greater pulling force should be selected. The FR2Plus hydraulic hammer ensures fast, consistent penetration, enabling high-quality soil samples to be obtained efficiently.

With the optional drop-weight unit, the FR2Plus is suitable for dynamic probing in accordance with DIN EN ISO 22476-2 (DPL, DPM and DPH). Alternatively, the rig can be equipped for DPSH dynamic probing with an optional SPT mast and a compatible SPT carriage featuring a 63.5 kg drop weight.

The FR2Plus features an integrated extraction unit with automatic changeover and a mounting point for a dynamic probing rod. Its tracked drive makes it suitable for use on difficult and rough terrain.
