Sampling Containers

All containers for geotechnical applications, made of glass or plastic, available at competitive prices.

For geotechnical applications, we offer sampling containers suitable for different sample materials, including soil, rock and water. The containers help prevent contamination and preserve the moisture content and physical properties of the samples for subsequent geotechnical analysis.

The most common types of sampling containers and their applications include:

  • Narrow-neck glass bottles & wide-mouth containers (PE / PP / glass): For disturbed soil samples. They are airtight and moisture-resistant, making them ideal for determining moisture content or particle size distribution.
  • Sample buckets (plastic): Often supplied with lids for larger sample volumes (e.g. 1 to 10 litres), such as for compaction tests (Proctor tests) or construction material testing.
  • Sample bottles (glass / PE): For groundwater or seepage water samples used in hydrogeological site investigations.

With the sampling containers in our Carl Hamm Geotechnik-Shop we cover the complete range of requirements for geotechnical soil and water sampling at competitive prices.
